It’s a pattern drafting tutorial on how to design simple dresses without darts for beginners.   Darts are folds or seams that shape the fabric to fit the body. They are usually used to create curves and contours on garments, especially around the bust, waist, and hips. However, darts are not always necessary or desirable. Sometimes, you may want to create a simple, loose-fitting, or flowy dress that doesn’t require darts. Or, you may want to avoid darts because they are too complicated or time-consuming to make.
