When we made our top or corset patterns  ,  it's about a time to use them. We can use of course normal fabric or , very cool choice, men's shirt !. I love to use men's shirts to my refashions because  there are  often made from great fabrics like silk or egyptian cotton.  I think good quality fabrics are very important not only for sewing but even more for wearing.
