Pleated skirts are again very trendy lately , I really like this type so decided to sew one ..at least one :-) too.  Pleated skirt need much more fabric than for example type A skirt, it has to be long enough to fit at least 3 times around waist,  that why I used bed sheet as my before material to sew it . Also the best fabrics to make pleated skirt are polyester ,  cotton and wool .
